Extension Project Illustraion

Monday

I actually don't mind working alone. Especially in this type of project work. I do better on my own, but ofcourse I need to get other people's point of view and perspectives. Sometimes I like working alone because then I don't need to explain where I'm going with the project and can just test out stuff and get going. Plus. this type of project will make it reallly hard to work as a team on. Since it's digital. I had chosen some shapes and technics that will be hard to animate and get to move. But I'm going to take on that challenge and do it. I want to show the tutors that I am up for this pathway. I will do this animation while doing the other assessment parts in this tight schedule and prove that I can do so much more in this pathway. I am up for it and ready.

Tuesday

I started my Tuesday on 9:00. and immediately started working on my animation. Creating assets and testing if the two programs I have and know work. to see if it can work with my idea. I did more work at the uni too. I try to keep switching what I'm working on. from my project to my workflow stuff. to not get bored or stressed out. I don't think I have time to get better programs to do certain scenes or get certain shots sadly. I need to priorties the important scenes that get the narrative and idea going first and then if I had more time I can add on it or make it better.

Wednesday

I really enjoyed working more freely in this project. Especially the complexity of it and what programs or platforms I can use. I am Super happy that I was allowed to work with my computer to create this animation and project. I found working with the deadline with the other stuff we had to do challenging. There were animation challenges of tricks that I still didn't know how to do. But I figured them out with triel and error.

I try to get my animation done shot by shot. slowly getting it done. I got 60% of it done. There are difficult shots that I'm going to work on tomorrow but I'm excited to get to them. I'm really enjoying this so far. and I can confidently say that it is what I want to do as a career.

Thursday

I have progressed really well today. Finished now on 9pm. I would love to be able to add soundeffects. But I don't think I got time for that. There are other stuff I need to get done to make sure I don't fall down.

I have succeeded in getting my narrative out well. It was understood by friends and they felt like going to eat a buffalo burger haha. So I guess I can call this one a success. Not one I'm fully proud of. But I will put soundeffects regardless of it being too late. I will get it done and upload the completed version to YT and send it to Umberto Giovannini. My passion for this pathway is like nothing I ever felt before. I want to do more. My peers have advised me about some shots being a bit long and some being too quick. It's nice seeing from their fresh eyes. Timing can get messed up if you look at the shots over and over again. So I got those fixed easily.
